# ⚔️ Assassin Skill Quest

## Venom Knife Quest

1. Talk to *Killtin*, the [NPC](https://irowiki.org/wiki/NPC) on the left side, inside the [Assassin](https://irowiki.org/wiki/Assassin) Guild. Continue conversing with him until he teaches you [Venom Knife](https://irowiki.org/wiki/Venom_Knife).

## Sonic Acceleration Quest

1. After learning [Venom Knife](https://irowiki.org/wiki/Venom_Knife), talk to *Esmille* (the [NPC](https://irowiki.org/wiki/NPC) on the right side). She will teach you the skill only after you've completed a task. *Killtin* asks you to retrieve a jewel from either [Sphinx 2](https://db.irowiki.org/db/map-info/in_sphinx2)![in\_sphinx2.png](https://db.irowiki.org/image/map/normal/in_sphinx2.png) or [Pyramid 4F](https://db.irowiki.org/db/map-info/moc_pryd04)![moc\_pryd04.png](https://db.irowiki.org/image/map/normal/moc_pryd04.png).

2. In [Sphinx](https://db.irowiki.org/db/map-info/in_sphinx2) 2 there are two places where you can obtain the gem. You only have to get one jewel from either of these locations (if the first doesn't work go the the second one, and vice-versa).

   1. The first coffin site can be found at 1 o'clock (in\_sphinx2 216,268) , approximately two screens west of the entrance to [Sphinx](https://db.irowiki.org/db/map-info/in_sphinx3) 3 where there will be a coffin on a raised platform. Walk up to the platform to activate the dialogue and you will be prompted to make a choice. Depending on what you choose you will be [poisoned](https://irowiki.org/wiki/Status_Effects#Poison), [blinded](https://irowiki.org/wiki/Status_Effects#Blind), or [cursed](https://irowiki.org/wiki/Status_Effects#Curse). Just be persistent and continue selecting and eventually you will receive a [Sapphire](http://db.irowiki.org/db/item-info/726/).

&#x20;b. The second coffin site is at around 9 o'clock (in\_sphinx2,18,163) where you will find a statue with an ornament. It's booby-trapped and will put you to [sleep](https://irowiki.org/wiki/Status_Effects#Sleep) with gas. Again, keep trying and you will receive a [Ruby](http://db.irowiki.org/db/item-info/723/).

3. In [Pyramid 4](https://db.irowiki.org/db/map-info/moc_pryd04)F the gem is located at middle of the left side of the enclosed water area. Keep walking around it to get an [Aquamarine](http://db.irowiki.org/db/item-info/720/).
4. Return to *Esmille* with the gem to learn the [Sonic Acceleration](https://irowiki.org/wiki/Sonic_Acceleration) skill.
